FREMONT, CA: FileWave, a mobile device management solutions company, has launched FileWave version 9.0 with new products and features catering to the needs of device management in the education sector.

FileWave version 9.0 comprises of newer additions including: Engage, Dashboard, and Imaging v3.

As classroom are increasingly going digital, Engage, a modern classroom management solution binds tutors and students in a whole new way. Equipped with features such as streamlined content delivery, reliable control of devices, and greater learning and participation tools, Engage empowers tutors to keep students’ attention gripped to the lesson while building an environment of student interaction and streamlined instruction.

Through a simple user interface, tutors can now reduce administrative tasks, maximize instructional time, boost student participation and most importantly, have a clear picture of the level of understanding of the students.

The other new offering, Dashboard, is for FileWave Administrators who can verify the real-time statuses of critical systems and services. Through a FileWave admin console or a webpage, administrators can monitor the environment around the clock. In case of any disturbance, customizable alert notifications can be pushed automatically to the concerned authority or person about the status change. The Dashboard besides 24/7 monitoring of critical systems and services, also shares data and health statuses, guidance with resolving alerts, and multiple administration levels.

Imaging v3 delivers engaging imaging experience. Now images can be considered as FileWave Filesets; devices that are to be imaged are termed clients.

New features in Imaging v3 include: integrated imaging configuration; support for multiple imaging appliances; and Windows driver injection for Windows images.
